The main purpose of your role:
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator helps keep Mauve Group's marketing, PR and communications activities running smoothly. Working across a variety of projects, you will coordinate campaigns and communications with internal and external stakeholders, maintain records and reporting tools, track performance, support media, brand and partnership activities, and help deliver initiatives that support Mauve Group's marketing and communications objectives.
What will you be doing as the Marketing and Communication Coordinator?
- Marketing, PR and Communications coordination: Act as the central point of coordination for marketing, PR and communications campaigns, projects and activities across the wider team. Maintain and coordinate project plans, action trackers, deadlines, approvals, content calendars and stakeholder inputs. Monitor progress and ensure activities are delivered on time and in line with agreed plans.
- External operational communications: Process incoming operational communications requests, gathering information and coordinating with the content team and internal stakeholders. Track communications through drafting, approval and distribution workflows. Build and maintain audience distribution lists. Schedule and distribute client and worker communications across approved channels.
- Media relations: Monitor media coverage and wider industry developments. Maintain media contact lists and stakeholder databases. Track journalist enquiries, media opportunities and request deadlines. Coordinate distribution of press releases, media statements, quotes and pitches. Provide administrative support for media outreach and publicity activities.
- Brand, reputation and partnerships: Research relevant industry awards, recognition programmes and speaking opportunities. Coordinate the administration of award and speaking opportunity projects, maintaining submission calendars and monitoring key deadlines. Gather supporting information from internal stakeholders and co-ordinate submission development with the content team for award entries and speaker applications. Monitor review platforms including Trustpilot, Glassdoor, Google Reviews and G2. Coordinate responses and escalate where needed in line with company processes. Manage partner requests and associated communication requirements relating to strategic partnerships, memberships and sponsorships. Gather and share content, assets and information with external partners. Support partnership-related events, campaigns and stakeholder activities.
- Reporting and analytics: Collate marketing, PR and communications performance data. Maintain reporting dashboards and activity records. Produce regular reports on campaign performance and communications activity.
- General Marketing, PR and communications support: Provide coordination, administrative and operational support across marketing, PR and communications activities. Publish content across approved channels and platforms. Manage marketing and communications assets, records and documentation. Maintain marketing, PR and communications libraries, databases, resource centres and internal communications pages. Coordinate translation requests and supporting materials. Support team projects and initiatives as required.
Requirements:

Qualifications:
- Essential: Educated to university bachelor degree level or equivalent.
- Desirable: Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations or a related discipline. Relevant marketing or communications qualification.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Essential: Experience in a coordination, administrative, operational support or project management role. Ideal previous roles include Marketing Executive, PR Executive, Communications Executive, Brand Coordinator, Campaign Coordinator, Communications Assistant or Executive Assistant. Experience managing concurrent tasks and competing priorities. Experience using a CRM, marketing automation, reporting or client communication system. Experience producing reports and analysing data. Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Desirable: Experience within a marketing, communications or public relations environment. Experience working in a remote environment. Experience with media relations or pitching.
