The successful candidate should be based in either the North of England, the Midlands, the West of England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Working Arrangement: This is primarily a remote-working role.

Employment and Contract Type: Maternity Cover 12-month fixed-term, full-time position.

Salary UK: £30,816.70 to £32,224 Per Annum. (Grade 4)

The Main Purpose of Your Role

As a remote Global EOR Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the activities of the Payroll Department. You will coordinate all monthly payroll activities within your own allocated countries, liaising with our clients and local payroll providers/accountants, ensuring a timely and accurate processing of wages. You will provide Sales and Business Development Teams with accurate payroll simulations based on Client requirements and provide support with follow up queries. Attention to detail is a must.

What Will You Be Doing as the Global EOR Payroll Specialist?

  • Ensure the monthly payrolls in each of your allocated countries are processed timely, efficiently, and accurately each month.
  • Monitor and record any payroll changes confirmed by our clients, to ensure all changes are incorporated in the payroll accordingly.
  • Monitor all new starters to ensure they are registered on the local payrolls in line with the local requirements as soon as their Employment Contracts are signed.
  • Monitor all leavers and ensure final payments are accurately processed in the final month.
  • Review and approve monthly payroll reports and invoices from local partners/representatives.
  • Ensure all payroll reports are produced in time to meet employee pay dates.
  • Provide the finance teams with monthly invoicing figures.
  • Monitor any payroll queries received from employees and/or our clients to ensure responses are provided in a timely manner.
  • Produce accurate and timely payroll cost simulations for the Sales and Business Development Team and answer any queries.
  • Be adept at mathematical formula creation and design.
  • Be the main point of contact to assist the Payroll Supervisor with reviewing and redesigning practices/processes.
  • Taking on project work when necessary.
  • Lead regular reviews of local legislation to ensure our payrolls in every country are compliant and our clients are informed of any changes.
  • Check work produced by Payroll Assistants/colleagues to ensure that they are accurate and timely.
  • Supervise assistants, when required.
  • Work with payroll colleagues to minimise errors.
  • Participate in meetings with current and potential clients to discuss payroll solutions, resolve payroll related issues, etc.
  • Notify internal staff with regards to any changes to local legislations that may affect our employees and/or our clients to ensure the relevant notifications are sent out and internal reports are updated.

  • Essential: University degree in related subject or relevant qualification.
  • Professional qualification or training in international payroll.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Essential: 5+ years experience of working within a busy payroll position.
  • Knowledge of international business terminologies and application.
  • Experience of business administration.
  • Handling sensitive and confidential data.

Desirable

  • Experience of working with global payrolls.
