The Private Wealth & Immigration Paralegal will support the Private Wealth team, with a focus on Probate and Immigration matters. The successful candidate will be a professional who excels in multi-tasking and problem solving both individually and as part of a team.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Manage client correspondence and maintain accurate file records.
- Collate documents and information from clients.
- Correspond with asset holders on probate matters, obtain valuations where required, and prepare statements of assets and liabilities.
- Handle correspondence with the Office of the Public Guardian.
- Support a range of immigration matters, including drafting application packs, reviewing evidence, following up on applications, and arranging client appointments.
- Reporting to the relevant Partners.
Key skills required:
- Strong academic background.
- Excellent organisation and time management.
- Confident IT skills (Microsoft Office and case management systems).
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- A team player with the ability to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- LLB, GDL, LPC/BPTC or SQE, or BA/BSc or MA/MSc, plus 2 or more years’ paralegal experience in a UK law firm and a clear commitment to a legal career.
Desirable:
- Previous paralegal experience is desirable.
- Experience in probate or immigration is not required, as training will be provided.
Remuneration package:
- Competitive salary offered.

- Depending on the duties performed, this role may be capable of counting as Qualifying Work Experience.
Hours:
- 9.30am to 5.30pm although hours may vary during busy periods.
- Office attendance required 5 days a week.
