An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Firm’s thriving business support team for a Patent Records & Formalities Officer. This is an excellent prospect for an experienced individual looking to take the next step in their career or someone looking for a change.
Key responsibilities:
- This new role will join Maucher Jenkins’ hard working Patent Records & Formalities team, providing the highest standards of support to the Firm’s Patent Attorneys.
- Duties handled by the team include the full range of records and formalities administration, covering UK, EP, PCT and foreign patent matters, EP grant and renewals.
About you:
- A proven track record in records and formalities practices and administration is required to succeed in this role – you may have a couple of years of experience or might be highly experienced and ready to make an impact at a new firm.
- Experience with Inprotech is essential, holding the CIPA IPAC qualification is desirable.
- The right candidate will be flexible and highly organised; they will have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), a strong eye for detail, along with the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, and a strong work ethic will be essential.
