An exciting opportunity has arisen at Maucher Jenkins’ London based office for a Trade Marks Secretary.
In this role you will join Maucher Jenkins’ thriving business support team, providing the highest standards of support to the existing team of attorneys, in the full range of secretarial duties, including:
- Preparing correspondence and other documents, communicating with clients, agents, etc; checking, updating and finalising correspondence and other documents.
- Preparing and distributing client invoices, including using electronic billing systems.
- Providing bespoke support to meet client needs, including using client document management systems/portals.
- Filtering incoming post for pro-active handling, including reporting to clients.
- Assisting in preparing for litigation.
About you:
- You have experience providing secretarial and administrative support in the Legal/IP/Trade Marks sector.
- You have experience preparing and issuing invoices (high volume); you have experience with e-billing.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a strong eye for detail.
- You are highly organised; confident working under pressure; able to prioritise and handle multiple deadlines; you are flexible.
- You are good listener; proactive and quick to learn.
- You are professional and friendly.
- You have Experience with MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Experience working with the Inprotech database system and/or other document management systems is advantageous but not essential.
