The role will be primarily focused on business development, with responsibility for coordinating relevant events and conferences and providing targeted marketing support. You will work closely with our Germany-based marketing team to ensure consistent messaging, a coordinated external profile and a joined-up approach to business development and marketing.

This is an opportunity to contribute directly to the firm's commercial objectives and help strengthen our position as one integrated firm across both jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Support partners and fee-earners across the UK and Germany in developing and implementing business development initiatives.
  • Identify new business opportunities, potential clients and opportunities to expand existing client relationships.
  • Promote cross-office collaboration and cross-selling by raising awareness of the firm's combined expertise and capabilities.
  • Research target clients, sectors, markets and referrer networks to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Support client relationship management, targeting initiatives and the development of client and referrer relationships.
  • Coordinate the preparation of pitches, proposals, presentations and client development plans.
  • Track business development opportunities, maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-up on leads, meetings and introductions.
  • Support networking, client engagement and relationship-building activities across both offices.

Events and Conferences

  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of client events, networking activities and industry conferences.
  • Work with partners and fee-earners to identify relevant events, target audiences and opportunities for client engagement.
  • Manage event logistics, invitations, attendee coordination and liaison with external organisers.
  • Ensure effective post-event follow-up to maximise relationship-building and business development opportunities.
  • Liaise with the marketing team in Germany on event promotion, communications and supporting materials.

Marketing Support

  • Work collaboratively with the Germany-based marketing team to deliver coordinated marketing activity across the firm.
  • Provide UK market insight and identify marketing opportunities that support business development priorities across both offices.
  • Contribute to the development of content, presentations, credentials and client-facing materials that showcase the firm's expertise.
  • Support the implementation of marketing campaigns, digital communications and social media activity where relevant.
  • Help ensure that external communications consistently reflect the firm's brand, positioning and one-firm approach.

General Coordination and Reporting

  • Maintain business development records, client information and opportunity tracking.
  • Monitor progress against agreed BD priorities and report on activity and outcomes.
  • Coordinate meetings, actions and follow-up across partners, fee-earners and internal teams.
  • Build effective working relationships across both offices, helping ensure that business development and marketing activity is aligned with the firm's wider objectives.

About You

You will ideally have:
