We are working with a growing, acquisitive professional services group to hire a Commercial Finance & Data Manager to support the next phase of development across systems, reporting and client data. This is a newly created role, focused on improving how the business captures, structures and uses data across finance and CRM platforms. Sitting between finance, operations and systems, the role will focus on turning data into clear, practical insight that supports better decision-making across the business.
Location - London with majority hybrid work (1-2 days in office)
The role:
- Review and improve the use of CRM and finance systems across the group
- Lead the transition away from current reporting tools (including Datarails) to more scalable, integrated solutions
- Extract and analyse client and revenue data to better understand:
- Client behaviour
- Revenue streams and service lines
- Cross-selling opportunities
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or strong finance background
- Experience within an accounting, legal or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of finance systems and CRM platforms
- Proven ability to work with and interpret large data sets in a commercial context
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and geographies
- Ability to simplify complex information into clear, usable insight
- Commercial mindset, with the ability to link data to business performance
- Comfortable operating across finance, systems, technical and operational teams
