We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established technology business based in Leatherhead, forming part of a growing international group. The UK office is a friendly, close-knit team of around 20 people and this is a genuinely varied sole-charge finance role with real ownership and autonomy. Reporting into the group CFO, you will be the go-to finance person for the UK entity, managing the full range of day-to-day financial operations with minimal oversight from the centre.
The Role
- Full ownership of the UK accounting function including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and transaction processing
- Accounts receivable ledger management and customer follow-ups
- Payroll processing and employee expense reimbursement
- Month-end close including prepaids, accruals, depreciation, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Financial controls and reporting across the order cycle, including purchase orders and commercial agreements
- Sales administration including vendor registrations and coordination with the sales team
- Maintaining the link between the inventory management system and the accounting system through to COGS
- Cash flow monitoring and compliance filings
- A small amount of office management including managing contracts and placing orders
