Our client, a well-established pharmaceutical company based in Buckinghamshire, is looking for a part-time Accounts Clerk to join their small finance team. This is a permanent role working 3 days a week, with 2 days based in the office and 1 day remote.
Location: Buckinghamshire (SL8 area)
Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week (2 days office / 1 day remote)
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 FTE negotiable
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase and sales invoices, and supplier/customer statement reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations and general ledger postings
- Assisting with VAT return preparation and submission
- Supporting month-end tasks as required
- General finance admin and ad hoc support to the Finance Controller
What We're Looking For
- Solid working knowledge of Sage accounting software
- Good understanding of VAT
- Previous experience in an accounts/bookkeeping role
- A self-starter who's comfortable working independently and getting stuck in
- Well organised, accurate, and confident managing their own workload across 3 days
