With more than 10 gender options, custom profiles, and strict safety measures including identity verification and zero tolerance for disrespect, the platform is built for inclusive, mindful dating.
Role Description This is a remote, contract Content Creator role focused on shaping and amplifying Mattr.
Social’s brand voice across digital channels.
The Content Creator will develop original, inclusive, and engaging content for social media that reflects MATTR’s mission of authentic, mindful dating.
Day-to-day responsibilities include brainstorming and scripting content ideas, creating short-form video and visual assets, writing captions and copy, and collaborating with the founder.
The role also involves monitoring engagement, iterating content based on performance, and staying informed about dating culture, LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities, and social trends to keep storytelling relevant and resonant.
Qualifications Content creation and storytelling skills, including experience with short-form video, visual content, and copywriting for digital platforms.
Social media and digital marketing skills, such as managing content calendars, optimising posts for engagement, and understanding platform best practices.
Basic design and editing capabilities, using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar software to create on-brand assets.
Strong research and audience insight skills to understand dating trends, community needs, and inclusive language guidelines.
Demonstrated commitment to inclusivity, with familiarity or lived experience within LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and creative communities considered a strong asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt tone and style to different channels and formats.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Previous experience in content creation, social media, community building, or brand storytelling; experience with apps or consumer tech is a plus.
The role is hybrid, but you should be able to either live in or commute to London at least once a week; you will also be required to shoot around the UK.
The role will start at three days a week, Tuesday- Thursday, on a six-month FTC.
We hope the candidate can demonstrate during that time period that this is an integral part of the business and is driving up reach and downloads; we will then be more than happy to make the role full-time.
