We’re building a modern, enterprise-scale data platform—and we’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help drive this forward using Azure, Databricks, and lakehouse architecture. What You\'ll Be Doing:
As a key member of our data engineering team, you will:
- Design and implement modern data architectures (lakehouse, medallion) using Azure and Databricks
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, quality validation tools, and lineage tracking systems
- Optimise and manage MS SQL and Azure SQL databases
- Use Azure Data Factory, Python, and cloud-native tools to build efficient ETL processes
- Deliver clean, insightful data outputs through PowerBI dashboards and reports
- Ensure strong governance, data integrity, and security across platforms
- Work closely with cross-functional teams using Agile methods and JIRA
- Support deployment through CI/CD pipelines and robust documentation
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years’ experience in data engineering within enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of SQL, data modelling, and cloud-native tools (Azure, Databricks)
- Strong Python skills and experience with automation, ETL, and AI-driven data solutions
- Hands-on experience with lakehouse architecture, Data Lakes, and medallion design
- Familiarity with PowerBI, Azure Data Factory, and modern DevOps practices
- Strong communicator with excellent documentation and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in financial services or regulated sectors is highly desirable
- Strategic thinker who can align technical solutions with business goals
