My client is a leading London building services contractor specialising in Design and Installation of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health systems for large scale residential projects. They have an elite, skilled team of over 500 employees who all contribute to the continued success and growth of the company. They are seeking a Senior level Quantity Surveyor with in depth M&E contracting experience, working on Residential projects, and they are offering the opportunity to lead a central London residential scheme alongside an experienced Project Manager. The appointed candidate will implement a detailed, concise and fully integrated Project Valuation Programme. They will also monitor and report contract performance and deviations. Responsibilities Single point of contact to fully understand project's commercial needs, evaluating different options to fulfil them and propose the best solutions. Manage cost throughout the project stages through to financial close and during construction. Accurately report and monitor, to forecast correctly, monthly cost reporting. Manage feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs. Handle procurement of sub-contractor packages. Prepare and monitor all supporting documentation for extension of time and loss in expense claims. Monitor project variations, project claims, and compile all supporting documents.
