Are you an experienced Arboriculturist who is getting frustrated with a lack of career progression and looking for a new opportunity? Our client is a highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy delivering high profile projects across a large network of UK offices.
As a senior arboricultural consultant, you will be working on a broad range of large infrastructure and development sites providing a range of tree surveys and technical advice. As a key member of the environmental team, you will be working alongside the ecology, landscape & EIA business units and due to the collaborative nature of the role, you will also support other technical disciplines.

The role can be based in either Manchester or Glasgow and individuals should be comfortable travelling to various sites across the UK with a full driving license required.
To be considered for the role, you will need:
- An Arboricultural Qualification
- Experience of tree surveys, providing consultancy advice in relation to demolition/construction in accordance with BS5837:2012
- Experience of undertaking tree condition surveys and providing tree risk management advice to a variety of private and public clients
- Well-organised and succinct report writing abilities with experience of writing tree survey reports, Arboricultural Impact Assessments and Arboricultural Method Statements
It will also be desirable if you can demonstrate an understanding of the planning process together with CAD or GIS experience. The role comes with a very generous salary and benefits.
