We are working with a civil and structural consultancy seeking an experienced civil engineer with around 6-9 years of post-graduate experience to help design infrastructure for projects including schools, housing, commercial, and leisure developments.

The job involves:

  • Designing systems for drainage, roads, water, flooding, and utilities
  • Assessing site conditions such as flooding risk, ground conditions, and environmental factors
  • Using digital and 3D modelling tools
  • Solving complex design problems creatively
  • Helping clients with planning, strategies, and feasibility studies

Requirements:

  • Strong technical engineering skills
  • Experience working on development and infrastructure projects
  • Experience of design software used in energy and environmental analysis
  • Knowledge of modern digital design tools and modelling systems

Professional qualifications are expected to include:

  • BSc/BEng (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status and membership of an appropriate professional body such as ICE, CIWEM (or similar)
