Job Summary: Experienced Sustainability Manager – 2 Year Fixed-Term Contract Hours: 35 per week, Hybrid working available This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to a major climate resilience and sustainability project within a large public sector organisation. Key Responsibilities: Support the delivery of ambitious climate goals, including achieving net zero carbon emissions (Scope 1 & 2 by 2027; Scope 3 by 2040). Lead on the adoption, monitoring, and reporting of sustainability design standards across capital construction projects. Engage with internal teams and external partners to ensure sustainability standards are met. Implement and oversee sustainability initiatives across a varied property portfolio, including offices, markets, schools, public spaces, and emergency services buildings. Requirements: A degree in architecture, engineering, low carbon building design, or a related field. Strong experience delivering sustainability outcomes in large construction projects through all RIBA stages.
