The company is seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Senior Landscape Architect to join its collaborative design team. The successful candidate will become part of an established landscape practice that works closely with specialists in ecology, landscape management, planning, and a range of related disciplines. This position offers exposure to a broad mix of multidisciplinary projects across the UK. Typical work includes public realm improvements, residential and mixed-use developments, educational campuses, and sports-related facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting major projects as part of a wider design team or independently managing smaller schemes under the guidance of senior colleagues.
- Carrying out site visits, contributing to community engagement activities, and liaising with clients and external design teams.
- Reviewing landscape works during construction and attending site or progress meetings as required.
- Producing planning and technical drawings using appropriate CAD and BIM software.
- Preparing design reports, diagrams, and visual material using graphic and design software packages.
- Developing planting plans and technical details, with training available for specialist planting software if required.
- Participating in internal training, CPD activities, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Supporting project management tasks, including time recording, monitoring of budgets, and maintaining awareness of project scope.
- Assisting in the coordination and mentoring of junior team members.
