Our client is a major planning & development firm who are looking to expand their London team and bring in an EIA Associate Director. As the new EIA Associate Director, you will have the chance to work on exciting projects across multiple sectors, including water, education, housing, retail, leisure and infrastructure, allowing you to continue to expand your knowledge base and develop your EIA and planning skills.

Responsibility:

As an EIA Associate Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading on multiple EIA and Planning projects ensuring strict timelines and budgets are set and adhered to.
  • Develop and maintain new and existing client relationships, aiming to continually develop new areas of business for the client.
  • Mentor and guide more junior staff members, reviewing and advising on their own projects and reports where possible.
  • Supporting the Directors and other Senior leaders in the London office.
  • Coordinating and leading teams on EIA/planning projects.
Requirements:

To be considered for this EIA Associate Director role, you will need to meet as much of the following criteria as possible:

  • At least 5 years of experience in within EIA/Planning.
  • Chartered member of a relevant professional body e.g. IEMA, RTPI etc.
  • Strong understanding of the EIA process and experience producing and reviewing EIAs.
  • Able to handle multiple projects at any given time, including managing finances and timelines.
  • A background in planning or a good understanding of the planning sector.
  • Experience with developing client relationships and winning work for the business.
