Join one of the UK s leading consultancies as part of the Building Safety team heading up the service line for London & the South. This is a new position which has been created in response to the Building Safety Act looking for someone who can slot in alongside the CDM/Health & Safety Team supporting them as BR/DP and Building Regulations Consultant. Our client is looking for a professional to lead the UK business with a background in Architecture, Building Design or in Building Control and strong building regulations experience. This role could be done from anywhere in the UK, but London would be the ideal location for the role. As Head of the Building Regulation service line you would be responsible for delivery of the Principal Designer (Building Regulations) role primarily to Safety Management but also to wider company. This would include setting up and leading the PD/BR function, processes, competency evidence etc. This a key strategic hire with the aim of having someone in post by the start of 2025.
