The Opportunity

We’re working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy seeking an experienced

Associate Town Planner to join its expanding Birmingham team.

You’ll take a lead role across high-profile infrastructure and development projects, working with major public and private-sector clients across transport, energy, water, housing and regeneration.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead planning workstreams across major projects.
  • Manage projects from strategy through to delivery.
  • Provide expert advice on planning policy, consenting and strategic planning .
  • Deliver and support

TCPA, DCO, TWAO and EIA projects.

  • Contribute to bids, tenders and business development.
  • Develop strong client relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Mentor junior colleagues within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Relevant Planning degree;

RTPI membership desirable .

  • Strong experience within planning consultancy, infrastructure or development.
  • Experience across

EIA, planning policy and consenting .

  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness with experience in work winning and client development .
  • Confidence to lead projects and influence multidisciplinary teams.
