As a Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll contribute to JM’s mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future.
The role:
- Working both alone and with leadership support, identifying, facilitating, and project managing continuous improvement projects throughout the business.
- To ensure that the safety and well-being of yourself and your colleagues and the constraints of our Regulatory permits and licences are given priority over all else in your area of contribution.
- To support and develop production systems, both digital and physical.
- Implement data analysis and visualisation tools including Tableau & PowerBI.
- Deliver coaching on data management strategies and foundation lean tools to all levels of the organisation to create a culture of continuous improvement meeting our Operational Excellence requirements.
- Analyse production data to identify opportunity within the organisation.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- Continuous Improvement activity experience within workplace environment.
- A degree in Manufacturing Systems, Engineering, Science or similar or relevant experience.
- Experience of using a problem-solving process using proven root cause analysis would be an advantage.
- Experience or education in IT systems commonly used in Operations and Management environments would be advantageous.
- Experience of deploying improvement projects and managing the process through to completion.
