Pay Range: €46,500 - €58,000
At Johnson Matthey, your work will matter. As a Senior Accounting RTR Analyst, you’ll join a world leader in platinum group metals with over 200 years of history and innovation. You’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern society and enhancing lives - as we continue to apply, refine and recycle metals that matter, for a healthier and more resilient future.
The role:
- Review and analyse information from the general ledger and other accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness, and take corrective action as appropriate
- Oversee the preparation of month-end and year-end close processes
- Lead the preparation of management accounts and reports for key business stakeholders
- Perform trial balance reviews, consolidation activities, and month-end control processes, including support for statutory audits
- Lead financial analysis and support monitoring of financial and operational performance metrics to drive informed decision-making
- Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports and respond to business queries from stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and provide input on judgement-based accruals and assumptions
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- Proven experience in a record-to-report role within a global corporate environment, with a strong understanding of management accounting and financial reporting
- Strong business orientation with analytical and lateral thinking skills, able to derive insights and connect information from multiple sources
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders fluently in English
- Proactive, accountable and self-driven, with high integrity and attention to accuracy, consistently delivering on commitments
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), including dashboard creation
- High level of commercial awareness combined with a results-driven mindset and ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment
