Using advanced metals chemistry, you'll help tackle the world's biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life-saving technologies - by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.

The role: As an Insurance Lead, you will help drive our goals by:

  • Leading and managing Johnson Matthey's global insurance programme, including renewals, procurement and policy oversight
  • Delivering the insurance strategy aligned to the organisation's risk profile and business priorities
  • Acting as the main point of contact for global insurance matters, building strong relationships with brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders
  • Overseeing claims management processes, ensuring effective handling, governance and compliance
  • Coordinating insurance data, cost allocation, documentation and reporting to support business decision-making
  • Collaborating with Risk and Resilience teams to assess exposures and optimise insurance coverage across the organisation

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

  • Demonstrable experience managing global insurance programmes within a complex organisation
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across functions
  • Solid understanding of insurance principles and their alignment with risk and resilience strategies

  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and prioritisation capabilities
