Using advanced metals chemistry, you’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life-saving technologies - by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.
Role responsibilities
- Partnering with the Global Chemicals & LST leadership teams to drive financial and operational performance across the business.
- Leading forecasting, budgeting and performance management activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
- Providing insight and challenge on business performance, using data-driven analysis to identify risks, opportunities and improvement actions.
- Driving integrated business planning processes and supporting decision-making across cost, revenue and working capital initiatives.
- Delivering robust financial evaluation and commercial insight for capital investment opportunities and strategic business decisions.
- Leading and developing a Finance Business Partner, creating a high-performing team that supports business growth and continuous improvement.
Key skills
- Professional accounting qualification, or equivalent experience, with significant post-qualification finance experience.
- Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing strategic and operational decision-making.
- Strong analytical capability, including experience interpreting complex financial data and presenting clear recommendations to leadership teams.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, alongside excellent financial planning and forecasting expertise.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with experience supporting organisational change and business transformation.
- Strong communication, commercial awareness and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues for a broad audience.
