Transport Planner Join a well-established and passionate abnormal load and heavy haulage company as their newest Transport Planner. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive team in a growing business, offering future career progression. You will need the following skills and experience: * Proven experience in transport planning using a variety of vehicles and large or abnormal loads. * Strong communication skills both verbal and written. * Excellent attention to detail, with an organised and adaptable approach. * Good IT skills and a willingness to learn. * Logical thinker with problem-solving abilities. * Full UK driving licence. What your role will involve: * Collaborating with the Transport Team and Operations Managers to ensure the safe routing of large and abnormal loads. * Assisting with transport planning tasks, including briefing and debriefing drivers, monitoring progress, reporting delays, and managing paperwork. * Liaising with internal teams and external personnel to ensure all processes are accurately followed. * Building strong customer relationships by providing updates, answering queries, and preparing quotations. * Ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to and promptly reporting any incidents. Salary & Benefits: * £30,000 – £35,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience. * Monday to Friday schedule. * 33 days holiday.
