Freight Forwarder

We have an exciting opportunity for a Freight Forwarder to join a growing and friendly team in Portbury. You will be joining a close knit team, in a welcoming and friendly environment where you’ll support and enable delivery of assets for the client as part of the Freight & Customs Team You will have the following skills and experience: You will have around 3-5 years of freight experience Experience of multimodal freight (ocean and road) Due to limited public transport to the site you will need a license and access to a vehicle BIFA qualifications are helpful but not essential Ability to use your own initiative and work well within a team You will be responsible for: You will be responsible for the management of data and documentation within the freight management system Liaise with suppliers, agents, hauliers, and shipping lines regarding delivery freight and to obtain clear shipment information and documentation You will working with the rest of the freight & customs team and wider business unit to continually improve processes You will also support regular internal, third party and client audits, support client meetings and provide activity reporting. …
