Matthew Moss High School is looking for an outstanding Assistant Head of Family to join our growing school community and make a real difference to the children who attend our school.
We have a vertical pastoral system. When learners join the school, they join one of five families: Beech, Lime, Maple, Oak & Willow. Each family is led by experienced Heads of Family. You will work closely with the Head of Family to monitor and evaluate student progress, via tutors and teaching staff, in order to promote pupil achievement and make a measurable contribution to the cohort and whole school targets.
Matthew Moss High School is an oversubscribed school with a "Good" Ofsted judgement and an established reputation for providing excellent professional development within a culture of learning and innovation. Pupils’ behaviour is described as good. Relationships between staff and pupils are a real strength. Staff morale is high, and 96% of staff said that they are proud to be a member of staff at the school.
