Key Responsibilities
- Plan and optimise daily delivery routes for a fleet of drivers.
- Maximise vehicle utilisation and delivery efficiency.
- Ensure all routes comply with Driver Hours Regulations and the Working Time Directive.
- Schedule deliveries to meet customer service requirements and agreed delivery windows.
- React quickly to operational changes, adjusting routes where required.
- Work closely with Transport Managers and drivers to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning efficiency and reduce transport costs.
- Maintain high levels of customer service while ensuring operational compliance.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Route Planner, Transport Planner or Logistics Planner.
- Strong knowledge of Driver Hours Regulations and the Working Time Directive.
