Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Solicitor or Junior Partner to join our Corporate & Commercial Team in Northampton. They have the largest commercial law team in Northamptonshire – recognised by the Legal 500, Lexcel Accredited, and winner of numerous awards. This region is thriving and with that, comes great opportunity for ambitious lawyers. Our client's growing team works with local, regional and national clients; supporting them with all aspects of their business.
They are looking for someone with a broad understanding of the commercial and legal needs of corporate clients and experience in advising on:
- Corporate structures
- Acquisition and growth strategies
- Succession planning
- Mergers and joint ventures
- Restructures and demergers
- Commercial contracts
- Corporate governance
You will have entrepreneurial instincts and spirit and be used to collaborating closely with colleagues across a range of disciplines, clients and other firms and advisers. You will be well connected professionally and adept at networking and driving business development.
Responsibilities: You will be advising on the following:
- Mergers, Acquisitions & Disposals
- Succession Planning
- Employee Share Schemes including EMIs, EBTs and EOTs
- Restructuring and Demergers
- Finance Documents
- Governance Documents including Shareholders Agreements, Articles of Association and Partnership Agreements
- Commercial Contracts
- Franchising
- Drafting, advising, negotiating, dealmaking
