The Company: Our client is a well-established and growing business specialising in the design, supply, and installation of warehouse equipment. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a reliable and hands-on Warehouse Assembly Operative to join their team.
The Role: This is a practical, fast-paced role working within a warehouse environment, assembling a range of equipment to specification. You will be responsible for ensuring all products are built accurately and safely in line with technical drawings and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembling warehouse equipment using hand and power tools
- Working from technical drawings and instructions to complete builds accurately
- Ensuring all assembled products meet quality standards
- Carrying out basic inspections and reporting any faults or discrepancies
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Supporting general warehouse duties where required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse assembly, production, or manufacturing role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Competent in the use of hand and power tools
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- FLT (Forklift Truck) licence preferred but not essential
