We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a busy and well-established parcel distribution business. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for stable work with a structured workload and consistent routes.
Working on behalf of a leading parcel company, the successful candidate will complete approximately 10 deliveries/collections per day, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.
The Role
- Completing Class 2 deliveries and collections
- Approximately 10 drops/stops per shift
- Ensuring deliveries are completed within scheduled times
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Loading and unloading vehicle where required
- Maintaining delivery paperwork and electronic records
- Providing professional customer service at all delivery points
- Adhering to all transport legislation and company procedures
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
