A very successful company within the engineering sector is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to strengthen its team on a permanent basis covering the North West region.
The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for:
- Supporting the sales function by proactively visiting clients to identify needs and generate new orders.
- Supplying technical solutions.
- Suggesting process improvements, cost reductions, and lean principles by utilising the company’s products.
- Consulting with clients to recommend the right tools and equipment.
- Travelling to customer sites daily.
- Building relationships and growing business with existing clients.
- Promoting the company’s product range.
- Working with other internal and external sales teams.
The ideal Technical Sales Engineer will have:
- Hands-on engineering/technical background.
- Demonstrable experience in technical sales roles, showcasing a track record of sales growth and maximizing existing opportunities.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office packages.
- A consultative approach and a genuine desire to help provide clients with a better solution.
