We are currently partnering with a well-established and growing organisation within the industrial/engineering sector, seeking an experienced professional to join their team in a Field Sales Account Management capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic sales professional with a background in engineering/industrial industries and products to play a key role in driving revenue growth through both existing account development and new business acquisition.
The Role
As a Field Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customers while actively developing new business opportunities. This is a field-based role, requiring daily travel to client sites to build trusted, long-term relationships and deliver tailored industrial solutions.
Key responsibilities for the Field Sales Account Manager include:
- Managing and developing existing customer accounts, ensuring strong relationships and high levels of service.
- Proactively upselling and cross-selling new and additional products within the existing client base.
- Identifying, targeting, and converting new business opportunities through structured business development activity.
- Building a strong understanding of customer requirements and providing suitable industrial product solutions.
- Negotiating pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements to maximise revenue and margin.
- Working to clearly defined sales targets and KPIs in a performance-driven environment.
