A specialist engineering provider is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service and maintain gas monitoring and control systems across commercial and industrial sites. This is a mobile role covering locations throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities for the Field Service Engineer:

  • Installation, servicing and maintenance of leak detection and monitoring systems
  • Fault finding, testing and commissioning of equipment, including alarms and communications
  • Control panel wiring, on-site modifications and technical troubleshooting
  • Planned preventative maintenance visits
  • Providing basic system training to customers on-site

Typical environments include installations for supermarkets, food production sites, cold storage facilities, commercial premises and many more.

Candidate Requirements for the Field Service Engineer:

  • Field-based engineering experience with electro-mechanical equipment
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • CSCS card
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Good IT skills and clear communication

Desirables for the ideal Field Engineer:

  • 17th or 18th Edition electrical qualification
  • F-Gas certification
  • Experience in monitoring systems
