A Junior Buyer / Purchaser is required to join a growing and very successful engineering business on a permanent basis.

The Junior Buyer / Purchaser will be working within the purchasing team and responsible for:

  • Placing orders when required
  • Ensuring stock levels are kept as needed
  • Communicating well with suppliers to maintain good working relationships
  • Reviewing purchasing information and suppliers
  • Seeking new suppliers to ensure best quality and practice
  • Producing spending forecasts

The ideal Junior Buyer / Purchaser will have:

  • Experience working as a buyer or purchaser
  • Experience within a manufacturing or engineering business
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Experience working with an ERP system
