A Junior Buyer / Purchaser is required to join a growing and very successful engineering business on a permanent basis.
The Junior Buyer / Purchaser will be working within the purchasing team and responsible for:
- Placing orders when required
- Ensuring stock levels are kept as needed
- Communicating well with suppliers to maintain good working relationships
- Reviewing purchasing information and suppliers
- Seeking new suppliers to ensure best quality and practice
- Producing spending forecasts
The ideal Junior Buyer / Purchaser will have:
- Experience working as a buyer or purchaser
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering business
- Excellent communication skills
- Negotiation skills
- Experience working with an ERP system
