They're looking for someone who understands the industry, can build strong relationships and has the commercial awareness to manage and develop an established product category.
To be considered, you'll need previous Category Management experience within an OEM, cutting tools or industrial engineering environment.

Manager: You'll take responsibility for managing and developing your product category, ensuring it remains competitive, profitable and aligned with customer requirements.
You'll be working closely with suppliers, customers and internal teams to identify opportunities, support sales growth and keep ahead of market trends.
Responsibilities of The Category Manager will include
- Managing and developing an assigned product category.
- Creating and implementing category plans to support business growth.
- Building strong working relationships with suppliers and key customers.
- Reviewing market trends, competitor activity and pricing.
- Negotiating supplier terms and commercial agreements.
- Working closely with the sales team to identify new opportunities.
- Analysing sales performance and product profitability.
- Supporting new product launches and promotional activity.
- Visiting customers across the UK when required to strengthen relationships and understand their requirements.
- Working with purchasing, technical and sales teams to ensure products meet customer needs.
What We're Looking for from The Category Manager To be successful in this role you'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Category Manager or similar commercial role.
- A strong engineering background, ideally within OEM, cutting tools, industrial tooling or manufacturing.
- Good commercial awareness and experience of managing product portfolios.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- The ability to analyse sales data and identify commercial opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
- A full UK driving licence.
