About the Role
Our FP&A team is at the heart of the C&C finance team, coordinating and reporting on group wide performance. This role, reporting into the Financial Planning and Analysis manager, offers the opportunity to work closely with budget holders and across finance teams. Collaboration is key to develop and enhance robust reporting and analysis for senior management.
Key Accountabilities
- Working in a cross-functional capacity with the various business units and departments across the wider C&C Group, so you’ll need to understand the reporting requirements and deliver them in a way that is scalable for future growth.
- Assisting with the co-ordination and production of the monthly reporting to senior management, ensuring financial updates and commentary are accurate and provide actionable insight to the management teams.
- Assisting management with consolidation of the budget and forecast position for C&C group and submit this into FP&A consolidation templates. Being a point of contact for budget holders and responsible for liaising and communicating known changes for budget and forecast cycles.
- Business partnering with treasury teams in the creation of financial reporting, inclusive of cashflows, CAPEX & finance costs. Understanding the implications of cashflow and working capital requirements will be paramount to success in role and in the creation of robust reporting.
- Support FP&A senior management in the creation of the monthly board pack, focusing on cost base & financial statistics. Develop and improve all regular reporting and contribute to the creation of group KPIs and reports.
- Business partnering with senior finance team to bring reporting to life, and to stay in the loop with upcoming changes.
- Assisting in requests from senior management for analysis on group performance, providing outputs in a timely and consistent manner inline with group reporting standards.
- Provide cover for the FP&A Manager, project work and other ad-hoc duties as required.
About you
- Recently qualified or part qualified with a professional body such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
- Track record of excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience of interrogating financial systems and producing reports for senior leadership.
- Experience in monitoring relevant KPIs and impact assessment.
- Integrity – access to highly confidential payroll information.
