As a multi-drop Class 2 Driver for Matthew Clark, you will deliver orders to customer premises efficiently and courteously, ensuring safety, timeliness, and completeness of deliveries. We offer a full-time permanent position with shifts from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work during peak periods such as Christmas or major sporting events.
Your responsibilities include:
- Delivering products within a designated area
- Assisting from a Driver's Mate
- Providing excellent customer service by ensuring each delivery is made with care, friendliness, and punctuality
- Performing vehicle inspections
- Ensuring orders are secured and correctly packaged for delivery
- Coordinating with your Driver’s Mate for the delivery run
- Communicating delays or issues to customers
- Assisting with unloading orders at customer premises
- Handling returns such as empty kegs and pallets appropriately
- Following health and safety procedures
- Completing paperwork, EPOD tasks, and liaising with transport management regarding vehicle issues
- Complying with Tachograph legislation
About you:
You have over three years of driving experience, including at least 12 months of Class 2 driving, with a valid HGV and CPC license. You excel in customer service and communication, are familiar with local roads, and are adaptable to various delivery scenarios.
