Senior Telesales Executive
Location: Glasgow Office, 16 Lawmoor Road, Glasgow, G5 0UL
Job type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 39.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Salary: £28554.45 per annum plus on-target earnings (up to £400 per month)
About The Role
The Senior Telesales Executive will conduct the same tasks as a Telesales Executive with the addition of some extra duties to support in the effectiveness of the Telesales department and maintaining the highest level of customer service and sales potential. In the absence of the Telesales & Telemarketing Manager the Senior Telesales Executive will be responsible for supervising the Telesales team.
Responsibilities
- Achieving Sales Targets: Ensure the team meets or exceeds sales goals and quotas.
- Team Development: Provide training, coaching, and support to help team members improve their sales skills and product knowledge.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and analyse team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Motivation and Morale: Foster a positive and motivating work environment to keep the team engaged and productive.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards in all interactions.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve sales processes and strategies for better efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reporting and Feedback: Provide regular reports to senior management and offer constructive feedback to team members during their monthly 1:1.
- Ensure all shifts are sufficiently covered, e.g. prompt arrival for allotted shift start time, taking correct lunch and breaks to ensure that Matthew Algie is providing a high standard of customer service. A level of flexibility is required to provide cover for other team members absence, holidays etc.
About You
Education / Qualifications / Training:
- Educated to Higher level.
- Previous sales experience.
Experience: Essential
- Previous experience in a busy sales office environment.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a senior role.
Essential: Skills / Knowledge:
- Competent in all Microsoft office packages specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
Desirable: Working knowledge of Matthew Algie’s PC hardware and software systems
