Hours: 39.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Salary: £25, up to £400 commission + OTE

About the role: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Executive to join us here at Matthew Algie on a permanent full-time basis. The role of the Sales Executive is to develop a list of potential clients from lead generation from MA website and socials. To conduct outbound calls to prospect customers to promote the products and services of Matthew Algie and to capture essential customer information to tailor consultation appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Generate database of potential sales leads in the UK through proactive calls and emails.
- Call handling from inbound prospect customers.
- Ask pertinent questions to understand customer requirements.
- Generate interest and close appointments over the phone.
- Data capture / plan and diarise follow ups.
- Answering client questions about products, prices, and availability.
- Input to Sales Management of ways to develop additional business and generate more leads.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Responsible for welcome calls, to manage customer expectations through onboarding journey and aftercare.
- Responsible for achieving their agreed sales targets and call frequency.
- Upselling calls to existing customer base on a scheduled basis.
- Administration of order processing as required including initial orders.
- Input to Management on product & sales strategy.
About you: To be considered for this position it is essential that you have relevant previous experience in a similar role such as telesales, telemarketing or prospecting business leads. You'll be a confident administrator with a track record of meeting targets in a KPI driven sales environment, or the right attitude to commit to this. You will be educated to Standard Grade / GCSE or equivalent. You will be competent in all Microsoft Office packages and have superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
