Position: Digital Marketing Manager
Location: Glasgow, Head Office
Job Type: Full time, Permanent, Monday - Friday
Salary: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per annum + bonus and benefits

The Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen within Matthew Algie to apply for the position of Digital Marketing Manager on a full time, permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation’s digital marketing strategy, with a strong focus on driving lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth through data-led activity.
You will lead the end-to-end planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting of digital campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels. The role also plays a key part in maximising performance through effective use of analytics, CRM integration, and continuous testing, while ensuring marketing activity contributes measurable impact to pipeline growth and overall commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement the digital marketing strategy aligned to business, brand, and sales objectives
- Lead and mentor the digital marketing team, fostering a high-performance, data-driven culture
- Ensure a consistent cross-channel approach to optimise customer journeys
- Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities across channels, platforms, and technologies
- Performance Marketing & Lead Generation
- Oversee paid media activity across platforms including Google, Bing, Meta, and LinkedIn
- Optimise campaigns to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and cost efficiency
- Set, monitor, and report on key metrics including CPL, CPA, ROI and ROAS
- Continuously test and refine targeting, messaging, and creative to improve performance.
- Data, Analytics & ROI Measurement
- Monitor and analyse digital performance across all channels using tracking and reporting tools
- Build and maintain measurement frameworks using GA4, CRM systems, and attribution models
- Evaluate campaign impact on pipeline, revenue, and overall business performance
- Translate data into actionable insights and produce reports for senior stakeholders
- CRM & Marketing Automation
- Manage and optimise CRM integration to improve lead management and customer experience
- Track leads, pipeline activity, and revenue contribution accurately
- Develop and implement marketing automation and lead nurturing programmes
- Ensure GDPR compliance and support database growth initiatives
- Website, SEO & Conversion Optimisation
- Oversee website strategy, performance, and continuous optimisation
- Support improvements in UX, SEO, and conversion rate optimisation (CRO)
- Ensure all website and landing pages are optimised for search, usability, and conversion
- Work with internal teams and agencies on development and enhancement projects
- Content & Social Media Strategy
- Develop and deliver content strategies aligned to audience needs and business goals
- Manage social media activity to drive engagement and brand awareness
- Maintain consistent messaging and brand identity across all channels
- Use performance data to refine content and improve campaign effectiveness
- Email Marketing & Customer Lifecycle
- Plan and deliver email marketing campaigns to support acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Manage audience segmentation and support database growth
- Monitor performance and optimise campaigns based on results

- Team & Agency Management
- Manage and develop the digital marketing team, setting clear objectives and KPIs
- Oversee relationships with external agencies and partners to ensure delivery against targets

Person Specification
- Education / Qualifications / Training:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business or a related discipline (desirable)
- Relevant digital marketing certifications (e.g. Google Ads, Analytics, paid social platforms) are desirable
- Experience:

- Proven experience in a digital marketing leadership role
- Strong experience managing multi-channel digital campaigns (PPC, SEO, paid social, email)
- Demonstrable experience delivering measurable ROI/ROAS
- Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms
- Strong analytical experience using tools such as GA4 and reporting platforms
- Experience managing and developing a team
