Location: Field Based, covering the South East of England. Ideally the successful candidate will be based in Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire or Kent.
Job Type: Full time, Permanent. 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, daytime only.
Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum

Purpose of Role: As a Coffee Machine Filtration Technician, you will be the face of our business to install, maintain, and replace water filtration systems for commercial coffee machines. This role ensures consistent water quality, optimal machine performance, and prolonged equipment lifespan. On-going training will be provided as and when required.
Experience: It is essential that you have experience working in busy retail environments (e.g. hospitality or retail service contracts). Previous work in coffee equipment service, water treatment, or related technical fields is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install water filtration systems for coffee machines according to manufacturer specifications.
- Inspect, replace, and maintain water filters on a scheduled basis.
- Diagnose filtration-related issues such as low water flow, scaling, and taste inconsistencies.
- Test water hardness and quality using industry-standard tools.
- Flush and calibrate filtration units after installation or service.
- Maintain service records, part inventories, using I.T systems.
- Educate customers on proper water maintenance and filter replacement cycles.
- Collaborate with coffee machine technicians on broader service and repair tasks.
- Deliver clear, courteous, and professional service to clients in hospitality, office, and retail settings.
- Provide on-site customer training and usage guidance where required.
- Represent the company as a technical expert and brand ambassador for premium coffee solutions.
- Complete service reports, job tickets, and asset logs accurately using the field CRM/mobile app.
- Manage van stock, ensuring parts usage is logged and replenished on time.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and site-specific procedures.
Preferred Skills / Knowledge:
- Technical or mechanical aptitude; experience with small appliances or plumbing is a plus.
- Knowledge of water filtration systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve water flow issues.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license for on-site service work.
