Joining the team offers access to financial specialisations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and asset management, client contracts and billing, payroll, and revenue recognition.

We are currently seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to join our team based from our EMEA headquarters in Southwark. This role would interact with the entire organisation but will have a focus on our operations outside North America, supporting the payroll process for over 6,800 employees within the US and 13 international countries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the accurate and timely processing of 19 monthly international payrolls.
  • Ensure all payrolls are administered in full compliance with international regulations, company policies, and SOX requirements.
  • Participate in expatriate payroll processing, partnering closely with HR and external tax advisors to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Manage payroll inputs, including file creation, file uploads, and manual entries within the Workday Payroll system.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and Benefits teams on payroll-impacting transactions such as leaves of absence, retroactive benefit deductions, and related adjustments.
  • Complete post-production payroll activities, including settlement, vendor integrations, and account reconciliations.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives and support the adoption of new Workday features.
  • Serve as the primary lead for specialised payroll tasks such as stock awards, option exercises, regulatory filings, and sales commission payments.
  • Oversee quarterly tax reconciliations and filings and support year-end activities including annual tax filings and reconciliations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to CoStar employees by responding promptly and accurately to payroll inquiries.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality of employee records, including compensation and personal information.

A minimum of 4 years' experience in Payroll review and execution, ideally supporting multiple countries in Europe including France, Spain, Germany, and Italy.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel (must be able to conduct data analysis, VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables). Experience using HRIS/HCM platforms such as Workday, TMF, ADP. Additional payroll qualifications such as CIPP are highly beneficial.
