ROLE DESCRIPTION
CoStar Group is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our London-based Finance team. Reporting to the International Finance Director, this role will serve as a key finance business partner across CoStar Group's international operations, supporting leadership teams across multiple products and business lines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a trusted finance business partner to senior stakeholders across CoStar Group's international business.
- Responsible for managing the P&L and BS of specific CoStar international products/services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial data.
- Delivery of month end results, including consistent and insightful reporting to business unit leaders and contribution to the monthly management accounts commentary.
- Provide detailed analysis of revenue performance, operating expenses, profitability and key business drivers.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing and Product teams to evaluate growth opportunities, pricing strategies and return on investment.
- Produce and present executive-level reporting, highlighting key trends, opportunities, risks and performance drivers.
- Developing and managing financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Help introduce AI transformation activities across International Finance, identifying opportunities to automate manual processes, improve reporting efficiency and strengthen data-driven decision making.
- Support and assist with external audit processes, helping to prepare audit deliverables, respond to auditor queries and facilitate review of month-end close outputs, account reconciliations and variance analyses.
QUALIFICATIONS
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Experience in managing and developing reporting, comfortable with large volumes of data.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial planning and reporting systems.
- Experience of working to a monthly close cadence.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach to work, including but not limited to, identifying areas for process improvements and implementing robust solutions.
- Ideally proficient in one or more European languages, specifically Spanish, German or French.
