The Director of Marketing will own B2B marketing strategy and execution in the UK across CoStar Group, CoStar and LoopNet - leading campaigns that educate the audience on CoStar Group’s platform of solutions, leverage the combined strength of in market brands, and stand-alone campaigns tailored to each brand’s distinct audience and goals. This leader will ensure CoStar Group is understood as the leading provider of digital real estate solutions, CoStar as the essential commercial real estate intelligence platform, and LoopNet as the leading UK marketplace for commercial property.
This role requires a strategic, commercially minded leader with experience managing multiple brands in complex, data-driven organizations. The Director will partner across Sales, Product, and Research to drive adoption and revenue impact, and must maintain close alignment with the VPs of CoStar Group, CoStar and LoopNet Marketing (US-based) to ensure UK execution is integrated with global brand direction.
The role is based in London, reports into the SVP of CoStar Europe and requires five days per week in the office.
Marketing Scope & Core Lanes of Ownership
- Awareness & Market Leadership: Raise awareness of CoStar Group as the platform provider, bringing highly credible digital commercial real estate solutions to the market and infusing them with benefits through their shared data and technology infrastructure. Build and sustain CoStar’s authority as the definitive source for commercial real estate intelligence and LoopNet’s position as the leading UK commercial property marketplace, through brand-specific and joint campaigns.
- Demand Generation & Customer Conversion: Lead disciplined go-to-market strategy that drives qualified enterprise demand, pipeline growth, and customer acquisition. Own positioning, messaging, and integrated campaigns that convert awareness into adoption and revenue.
- Retention, Renewal & Customer Expansion: Ensure marketing actively supports onboarding, adoption, renewal, and expansion—not just acquisition. Collaborate with Product and customer-facing teams to reinforce value realization and long-term client engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategy: Define the UK marketing vision and strategy for CoStar Group, CoStar, and LoopNet in alignment with CoStar Group’s objectives.
- Data & Performance Management: Establish OKRs, KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure marketing’s impact on pipeline, revenue, and client engagement.
- Commercial Impact: Material contribution to revenue growth through qualified pipeline, expansion revenue, and multi-product adoption across CoStar and LoopNet customer segments.
- Go-to-Market & Product Adoption: Clear, differentiated positioning for CoStar and LoopNet, consistently reflected across all GTM materials both brand-specific and joint.
- Brand & Market Leadership: Increased brand awareness and authority for CoStar Group, CoStar and LoopNet among commercial real estate decision-makers.
- Team & Organizational Impact: High performing, scalable marketing organization with strong bench strength, clear accountability, and low-regretted attrition.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of progressive B2B marketing commercial real estate experience
- 5+ years leading multi-dimensional B2B marketing teams
- Proven success leading large-scale, marketing strategies for complex, data-driven products.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to drive measurable commercial outcomes.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive level stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; advanced degree (MBA) preferred but not required.
