Matter of Health is a CQC-registered, multidisciplinary mental health clinic providing psychiatry, psychology, nutritional therapy, dietetics, and fitness support. We work from a whole-health model, recognising that mental health outcomes are shaped by biological, psychological, and lifestyle factors. Clinical judgement sits at the centre of everything we do. Our service is designed to support safe, ethical, evidence-based practice, with appropriate time, clinical containment, and multidisciplinary input where helpful. We support adults presenting with ADHD, autism, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related difficulties, and more complex diagnostic questions.
As a Contractor Adult Psychiatrist, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments with adults
- Diagnose and manage neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions, including ADHD and autism
- Develop collaborative, person-centred treatment plans
- Prescribe and review medication where clinically indicated
- Work alongside psychologists, therapists, nutritionists, and fitness professionals as part of an MDT
- Contribute to clinical governance, outcomes monitoring, and service development as appropriate
This is remote, flexible work, structured to fit alongside other NHS, private, or portfolio roles.
What We Offer:
- Flexible, remote working β sessions scheduled to suit your availability
- Contained caseloads β quality over volume, with realistic expectations
- Strong clinical governance β CQC-registered, with clear policies and support
- Administrative and prescribing support β allowing you to focus on clinical work
- Multidisciplinary collaboration β genuine MDT input, not tokenistic add-ons
- Negotiable contractor rates β discussed transparently and respectfully
About You:
- You will be GMC-registered in General Adult Psychiatry (or equivalent)
- Experienced in assessing and treating adult mental health conditions, including ADHD and autism
- Comfortable working autonomously within a governance framework
- Aligned with a whole-health, biopsychosocial approach
- Confident delivering remote consultations
- Clinically reflective, ethical, and patient-centred
