The Team:
The Logistics team is accountable for all the physical movement of our products from our manufacturing plant to our final customer. We ensure that we provide a high service to our customers and partners, at the lowest possible cost. Compliance with internal and local legislation of our operation is also a key aspect, as well as maintaining network improvements being part of our ongoing ethos. This team within Logistics focuses on Freight Out across the EMEA region (transport from DCs to Customers). The team works with carriers, Procurement, local Supply Chain Teams, our Lead Logistics Provider and other parties to ensure deliveries are made on time and cost effectively.
Job Description
The Opportunity: As the Senior Supply Chain Analyst for the UK/IRE and Benelux, you will be responsible for analyzing the life cycle of order planning until the order is received by our customers. We are looking for someone who can lead big data analysis, drive improvements using your findings and lead projects to ensure your market drives continuous improvement, reduces cost, and improve service to our customers. This role contributes to the carrier selection process, ensures engagement and continued high service level from all carriers serving their territory. The role acts as the primary contact for any outbound delivery issues in real time for which they should take appropriate action to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. You will be responsible for providing visibility and insights on cost and service leading to the delivery of continuous improvement projects. This role will not only enable you to improve cost, capacity and service for your market. It will ensure you have a pivotal role in improving the present-day operation and creating the future of the Mattel supply chain.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Manage markets performance on OTIFs (On-Time In-Full) and Delivery adherence, Collection Adherence. (Benelux and UK/IE)
- Ensure timely POD (Proof of Delivery) collection from carriers
- Track and manage exceptions, escalate issues in case of hauler service failures
- Collaborate with procurement by feeding market intelligence and data insights
- Escalate unresolved service issues and contribute to selecting new carriers when needed
- Suppress excess accessorial charges through data analysis and carrier coordination
- Run local MBRs with wider supply chain teams (Customer Fulfillment and TMS)
- Drive continuous improvement across carrier performance, DC issues, and customer service gaps
- Analyse root causes of delivery issues; propose and implement corrective actions
- Conduct weekly carrier performance reviews in alignment with strategic goals
- Support procurement with business intelligence to improve carrier selection
- Escalate non-performing carriers and participate in onboarding new partners if recovery fails
- Cost control of your market; Freight budget and spot rate tracking and approval
- Analysis of end-to-end order cycle

Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
- Solid previous experience in a Supply Chain position, ideally within Logistics transportation
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
- Fluent English Language skills; other European languages are highly beneficial
- Computer skills: Advanced in Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical mindset and good at working with figures
- Good communications: written and verbal including the ability to present when required
- Team player
- Able to work with strong consistency and integrity

- Strong organization skills
