The Opportunity: A once in a lifetime opportunity to join our in-house PR team in the UK as part of the wider EMEA comms group. Reporting to the PR Manager, we are looking for a self-motivated and well-organized PR Associate who is in their early years of developing their PR career who has experience working in PR agencies or a busy in-house press office, and ideally has some PR campaign management or PR account experience.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Working directly with the PR Manager and PR Lead, supporting to execute first class integrated brand PR campaigns and events for UK market, with creative frameworks and concepts that can be used in the rest of the EMEA markets.
  • Act as hub for creative, messaging, assets and materials for rest of EMEA driving best practise and efficiencies.
  • Drive trade shows both in the UK and across EMEA.
  • Coordinate network of PR agencies from coverage reports to vetting press and media lists.
  • Administer EMEA press inbox with inbound requests distributing them accordingly to market agencies.
  • Sign off press materials for franchise partners.
  • Media sell in experience.
  • Manage finance systems, raising PO’s and logging in finance systems.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience managing a press office and using media monitoring tools.
  • Strong project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems is highly appreciated.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional European language is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach and a commitment to fostering an environment that reflects Mattel's values.

What We Offer:

  • Gross annual salary range of GBP 37,440 - GBP 44,460.
  • Bonus scheme.
