We are currently recruiting an Area Sales Manager to join our UK sales team. This is a full-time, permanent position covering our Northern region, with our modern headquarters based in Leicestershire. About the Role: As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Matsuura CNC machine tools and Muratec lathes throughout the Northern region of the UK. The role focuses on developing existing customer relationships while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities. Working closely with customers and internal support teams, you will deliver technical and commercial solutions tailored to the needs of modern manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell CNC machine tools and associated solutions
  • Manage and develop an established customer base
  • Identify and convert new sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver effective solutions

About You: You will be commercially driven, technically minded, and motivated to succeed in a competitive sales environment.

Key Skills and Experience:
  • Good working knowledge of mechanical engineering
  • Experience within, or strong understanding of, the UK general engineering and metal-cutting industry
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
