We are currently recruiting for an IT Support Engineer to join our team. This is a key, hands-on role, that is essential in ensuring that hardware, software and network systems operate efficiently, securely and reliably to support our business operations. This is a full time, permanent position based on site at our Leicestershire facility.

About the Role:

As our IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, implementation and maintenance of the organisation's IT and telephone systems. This includes hands-on database management of our core systems such as Sage and Alphalogix.

About You:

Proven experience in IT support and system administration.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient with Windows/macOS operating systems and Microsoft 365
  • Knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
  • Experience with Active Directory, file servers, and backup solutions
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Workspace)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Collaborative team player with clear, concise communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to manage own workload

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional, or ITIL

This role ensures that hardware, software, and network systems operate efficiently, securely, and reliably to support business operations. Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required during system upgrades or emergencies.
