Overview
You will be required to travel to the company sites located in Dublin, Sligo & Belfast. My client, a proven evolving industry leader, supplier and distributor of construction products, are looking to hire a Lead Commercial Manager to join their team. The role is ideally suited to an experienced, committed and commercially driven individual who can work alongside the existing team developing, shaping and driving their sales and purchasing strategy, client engagement and client servicing.
Responsibilities
- Permanent role with travel to locations/sites.
- Maintain & sustain existing client/customer relationships.
- Develop sales action plans & marketing strategies.
- Create a purchasing strategy & supplier interaction.
- Work with the sales team to deliver product cost/margin targets to lead the commercial function.
- Travel to company sites in Dublin, Sligo, Belfast and client/customer visits.
What we're looking for
- 4-5 years senior commercial/business development management sales in construction/engineering or related discipline.
- 3rd level qualification in construction/engineering/business/finance or related.
- Budgeting, forecasting & margin analysis knowledge.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and strategic thinking.
- Relationship management (great people skills).
- Computer/IT skills Microsoft Office.
- Full Irish Driving License.
